StrengthsFinder 2.0 is a tool to help you develop your natural talents and play to your strengths. According to Gallup, Inc., “the StrengthsFinder assessment is based on the understanding that your greatest potential for success is grounded in taking action consistent with your inherent nature”. The assessment ranks 34 talent themes that all people possess to show you your most dominant natural talents. These talent themes, when understood and used effectively can be developed into strengths that will help you become a better leader, communicate what you do best and the kind of work you want to do, navigate difficult relationships, increase your productivity, and initiate change more easily. When you are not working with your strengths, you feel depleted. It feels like work. You get drained quickly. Knowing your natural talents can bring life and joy back to your work.


We’ll review all 34 strengths, with an emphasis on your top five, as well as those ranking from six through ten, to analyze how they influence what you’re currently doing. Your awareness of where your strengths lie will help you understand and appreciate what you do best, and how to further develop and enhance those strengths. You’ll also learn to recognize talent in those around you, to help you be a more effective influencer, leader, mentor and colleague.
